   Trying to answer this question.
"The car has a MPH governor that kicks in at 105. I have been attempting to eliminate this for a while. I tried using a JET Performance Chip, but it did not work, so I returned it! The car is a 1995b with OBD2. There is a performance computer that is available for the 1996 LX V8 with OBD2, but Summit and Jegs tell me this computer will not work with my car. I suspect that it may, as it is a 1995b, and OBD2, but I do not want to spend $300 to find out that the computer does not work. Any ideas or suggestions for other options? I am not trying to spend a fortune either!"

Here is the link that the question came from:

Any help would be much appreciated!

I'm Having the same problem. I have a stock '94 4.6 V8, and it's governor kicks in at 110. If It was a standard, I would burn it out, but it's not. Not sure what I should do.

I ALSO HAVE THIS SAME PROBLEM. GOV KICKS IN AT EXACTLY 105 MPH.  I HEAR THERE ARE REPROGRAMING
MODULES YOU CAN PLUG IN FOR MORE POWER, BUT I DON'T KNOW IF THEY WILL DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE GOVERNOR PROBLEM
