I have a 2002 focus se wagon, and the other day when driving, my check engine light came on and my battery light came on. Along with that my odometer won't register my spedometer is not working nor is my temperature gauge, or fuel gauge. As well with that problem my intermittant wipers will not work or the rear wiper. This come and goes when I am driving for the last two days, Any idea what it may be, or am I fretting over a 3.00 $ fuse. I just don't want to have to pay for the car to be plugged to the computer for no reason. Can you help me  ?

First try cleaning the battery cables. Then look for a bad fuse. If not those then you may have jumped a brush in your alternator. Last it could be a half-burnt fusible link. Good Luck.
