I have a 1996 Ford Taurus. We just had a noreaster here in the Philadelphia area and when I jumped in my car on Saturday, it started up and then stahled. Then, after I would get it running, it would idle at extremely low revs, like on the verge of stahling (while shaking) and then it would immediately accelerate itself up to around 2000 revs and then back down again over and over again. While driving, it runs fine as long as you are hitting the gas. I thought this was becaues of the rain but my car is still doing this after having been parked in a garage. Can anyone please tell me what this problem might be? Thanks so much.
