Hi everybody. I'm lookin' to buy an old ford tomorrow (4/29) to build into a low cost off-road toy. It's an '83 F-250 3/4 ton with a 302 motor and automatic trans. That's really all I know about the truck from the ad but hopefully it's as cool in person as it is in the ad. I look forward to being part of this forum and checkin' out everyone else's rides.

Welcome to the forum!!! please post some pics of this new found project of yours when you get the chance...i had a 1972...CJ -5   Jeep that I just basically gave away due to the lack of space and the amount of project cars i have going on here..My property is starting to look like a little.... buy here    pay here  car lot lol. But I had basically the same idea with the Jeep as you do about the truck your looking at OFF ROAD FUN TIME!!!.  It was four wheel drive and i was in the process of putting a small block chevy V-8 in it. I think the thing only had like a 80 to 90 inch wheel base It was perfect for mudding, rock crawling (with suspenion work of course),and whatever off road use you could imagine..unfortunitly i have 6 other cars, trucks, suv's that were ahead of this Jeep in my list of priority's so the old lady made me make some decisions and The Jeep and a 88 chevy  S-10  had to go. Well once again welcome to the forum I can tell youll fit in here very well..
