Well, I still have reason to doubt my car will be ready for next weekend, but it is getting much closer.  The chassis now carries its' certification and the aluminum work is going to be started ery soon.  Here are some pics of the progress.













And for bonus points see if you can tell me what is underneath the car cover. :Drool:



This car is a 68 Dodge Dart powered by a 408 inch stroked small block.  It has gone a best of 9.607 @ 136.77 so far and should be capable of 9.4's y the end of this season.

Cool, looks good. First car I ever drove was a dodge dart, not sure what year. From what I remember, it looked like your body style, but had a slant 6. I was 11 or 12.

Just a quick update.  I am currently #5 in my season points standing and continue to become more consistent each weekend out.  I have won my class the last 3 weekend out, going an astonishing 24-3 in the last few event outings.  My new best is 9.538 seconds at 137.77 mph.
