New to this forum, I just ended up with a 90 mark Vll and plan to install the 5.0 and auto into my 70 AMC Rebel wagon (dont laugh too hard) What do I need to do to make it work. (im cheap too) I do want to do it right. Not just drop and weld.

Can I use all of the factory Lincoln stuff or do I need to buy a painless wireing kit and a standalone computer ?

get the megasquirt system or somthing similar....it will save you a lot of hassel, but you will also have to rewire from the headlights to the taillights.....there is usually about 2 miles of wire for a car with a 5L i hope yhou an apt electrician....as for motor mounts....drop and weld or make custom extenders is the only answer....and you old tranny wont bolt up
