Hello all, love this site, just stumbed upon it, and lots of info. My problem: CAR: 1997 Crown Victoria, 4.6L - Non Police Package This car has always been fast , and the gas pedal very responsive. Now, when I step on the gas, mostly in First of Second gear, it hesitates, the engine loses some power. If i lift my foot up and press down again slowly, it takes off like a bat out of hell. Things I have tried: I put a bottle of Lucas Fuel cleaner, no help. I have also removed the intake hose and cleaned the throttle plate with Throttle Cleaner and inside as best I could. I did see a little improvement after that, but the dead problem is still there. Any suggestions out there ? Thanks Ron
