Hello need some help, I have a 1988 Thunderbird sport coup went to use my AC this year and the lights on  the electronic climate control started blinking on and off as soon as I turn it on, the AC was working fine it was controlling temp to 73 deg. Roman

found my problem, I had a small vacuum leak under the hood

where did you find the vacume leak im having a simular problem on mine. Mine wont blow from the vents only the defrost

I first took the unit out to check all connection on the back side of it, all was good than I check with a vacuum gauge. On the back of intake manifold found two vacuum line cracked, replaced them and it took care of my problem

I had a similar problem on my car lately after I took it for inspection (you're not allowed to inspect your own car in PA). Two vacuum lines were "mysteriously" crossed. Placement is another thing to check (especially if the lines were replaced previously).
