They are ads by google. Google pays for the advertising, and I guess they just put ads on car forums for any type of cars. I don't think that is something the site owners can control.

It is pretty ironic though that GMC would advertise on a ford site.

Oh come on. I have more to say than that. I mean what the heck? One of the whole reasons I bother to use this site is for the fact I have less of a chance of hearing about junk from Garbage Motor Company. I've been fixing cars long enough to know their cheap pains in the tail end are more plentiful than you know. Just like the crappy foreign cars (which bleed you down as any American to steal your paycheck too - yes you pay garages to fix cars and I charge more for repairing foreign cars since they're stealing American jobs away AND foreign companies have less responsibiity if their cars are dangerous -duh) Real Americans prefer our own cars to stuff that foreigners were basically slaved to build. At least I can give GM that one thing. It's American - but this IS a Ford site -- Right?? So what gives? Why is unwanted advertising fair? What a bunch of crap. Try harder. I'm sure at google they can handle placing the ads more appropriately than randomly - it's how their sponsors get money and reflects on their pay too. I'm not a fool, or angry but I am one American who refuses to be crapped on and let everyone else sink when they're all doing better than they think - why give up and slack off - I ask. Do more. Sling an email to the big wigs and see what they think. If evolution is a step to keeping in good business form they might thank you - of course maybe they're getting old and trying to fade away too - who knows? Now that I've spit out some junk I at least feel at ease to end this huge paragraph.

Do you actually think they hand pick & place ads for a site? I'll answer for you ......NO
It takes keywords from the text on the page and delivers ads accordingly.
