1998 Contour fan in-op?

Fredo -> 1998 Contour fan in-op? (7/10/2007 1:02:10 PM)

Just bought a 1998 Contour Gl 2.0L. The heater/A/C fan is in-op. I was going to check the fuse.
but I do not have an owners manual. Can anyone help?

You can download an owners manual here.. https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals/default.asp

Also check the blower relay, the heater/fan blower resistor...

I checked the fuse and the relay, both  are good. Anything else I can check?

I checked the power to the heater fan motor itself and I am getting power to it. I assume the motor is bad. Does anyone know how to remove it? I do not see any screws on the motor to remove it?

Blower Motor

Check for 12v and an applied ground for blower function/operation before replacement
