1998 Contour fan in-op? - 7/10/2007 1:02:10 PM    Fredo   Posts: 11 Score: 0 Joined: 7/10/2007 Status: offline Just bought a 1998 Contour Gl 2.0L. The heater/A/C fan is in-op. I was going to check the fuse. but I do not have an owners manual. Can anyone help? Post #: 1

I assume the motor is bad. Does anyone know how to remove it? I do not see any screws on the motor to remove it? (in reply to Fredo) Post #: 4

Remove the pushpins for the upper footwell trim panel on the passenger side and remove it. Thumbnail Image 2.Remove the blower motor. Disconnect the electrical connector. Lift the securing tab slightly. Turn the blower motor approx. 30° counterclockwise and remove it. Thumbnail Image Installation 1.      NOTE: Engage the securing tab for the blower motor. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
