I don`t understand why Ford acts like building a rear wheel drive car is such a hard thing.Before 1980 everything Ford built was RWD.Everything From the Pinto to The LTD was RWD.FWD is a lot more prone to hydroplaning(although it is never mentioned)handles bad and is more expensive to repair.

I dont think exporting Falcons to America will help Ford Australia at all. Australia will be importing engines from the US shortly which, along with the Boss, will be the end of the mighty 4l six. Heaven forbid we give the Americans a sedan they can export too! I could be wrong, but I think youll find FPV has no intention of exporting LHD Falcons.
