I'm new to this forum, but I am looking forward to getting involved. I have been looking everywhere for the towrating on my Bronco "the Beast". Here are the specs...

1981 4x4 300cu in 3spd manual w/od

I would sure appreciate any help. My wife and I are wanting to get a travel trailer, but I want to 1st make sure that "the Beast" will sufice for towing.

I had a '80 bronco and have an 87 now both tow ratings are the same depnding on your hitch style. Bumper towing is about 8000#'s max, a class three reciever can handle up to 10,000#'s. Although i may still have the owners manuals for at least one of those vehicles.
