Hi,new to this forum.Can some one tell me how to change the trans fluid in my 2005 freestar van.I look under it today could not locate the drain plug help me thanks

There is no drainplug, you remove the ATF pan.
The pan gasket is reuseable after cleaning and making sure it is not damaged.
Install a new oil filter and clean the oil pan, also clean the magnet and place it in the same position in the oilpan, install the oilpan and fill the transmission with Mercon V fluid, about 6 quarts.
Warm up the engine and check the A/T fluid.
