AC blows warm air when engine is hot

The AC in my '98 Taurus works fine when the car is started in the morning after not being used (engine is cold). After driving for some time (usually 30 minutes or so - time varies) the cold air will start blowing warm. Then if turned off and restarted it will not blow cold again. It usually will take the engine remaining off for a few hours before the air blows cool again. The blower never stops. I don't believe its low on R-134a because the compressor is not clicking very often like it normally does when the refrigerant is low. I think a bad switch may be to blame but I don't know which one (if any) or where to begin looking. Any ideas???

Sounds like you are having problems with a door in side your A/C system. It could be the controls in the dash or it could be the door itself. Jim
