Fellow Taurus Owners,

I have a 1998 Taurus that needed a new window regulator.  The motor worked but would not power the windows up and down.

So I removed the old regulator and installed the replacement.  However, I am having one small problem.  I cannot mount the regulator posts into the railing clips on the window itself.  I do not want to force the post into the clip because I am afraid I'll crack the window since it is right behind the railing.  I've attached a photo so you can see what I am trying to say.  Your advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
John
