It's time for me to change out the fuel filters on my 06' powerstroke. My manual only lists one part number for the filter type (from what I have found). Are the upper and lower filters the same element? And.....do I need to depressurize the fuel system before I remove the filters? If so, what's the easiest and safest way to do so.
Also, when I remove the lower filter on the frame, will the fuel continue to run out til I get the cap replaced, or will the fuel lines eventually stop draining?
