Disconnecting the battery will clear the KAM and cancel the CEL, but may return/reset if a fault exists....

I believe '95 is an OBD 2 car. OBD 2 cars can be reset with some code readers (Harbor Freight Tools sells one such tool). Plus you get the added plus of being able to test the car yourself.

(Meaning if there is an unknown problem and you're getting a code you can then tell what it has to do with).
