I have a 95 ford F150 with a straight 6/ 300 in it. I am having some kind of electrical problem that involves it running right and the speedometer working. It dies when I come up to a stop light, it idles down to low. I've changed the low speed Idle sensor, the air flow sensor and the solenoid on the firewall. Now where the speedometer fits into this problem is; if my speedometer works then I have problems with the engine running right . It will die then jerk a couple times then restart, while driving down the road, just like hitting a kill switch, But if my speedometer qiuts altoghter it runs fine. So what I need to find out is where these two things have the most in common then I might be able to find my short there...it has an electronic speedo. I have wiggled wires around and then it runs fine for awhile but then goes back to dying again so I am not sure if moving the wiring around has anything to do with it or not. Help before it drives me crazy...thank you

I'd check all the ground connections and any ground straps between the chassis and body. Loose or corroded ground connections can cause all kinds of crazy things to happen. My sons 99 ranger had a bad ground under the dash that drove things crazy then all of a sudden everything would be fine, hit a bump in the road and crazy again. Hope this helps, good luck.
