I have a 96 F-250 with a dual feed brake reservoir.
I have replaced all of the front brake lines.

I need to replace the rear lines too (there's a leak), but I also need to move the truck asap, and only a few miles away.

Is there a plug or other way to seal off the rear feed "right at the reservoir ", just so I can drive it home?

I do have 33" tires on the truck (no lift), but I figure if my front brakes account for 70% of my stopping power I should be ok?

Any other suggestions?

If I can't block off the rear feed, is there any way I can get it "in and out of gear" and drive it onto a rollback? Being that it's an automatic transmission, how can I do that? without brake pressure?

Thanks so much for any help.

THERE ARE TWO DIFFRENT METHODS U CAN USE FIRST U COULD TAKE THE LINE LOOSE AT THE MASTER CYLINDER GOING TO THE REAR BRAKES AND PUT A PLUG IN THE MASTER CYLINDER OR GO TO THE LINE BEING REPLACED AND BEAT THE LINE FLAT WITH A HAMMER AT AN AREA BEFORE WHERE THE LINE IS LEAKING BUT BE SURE ITS ON THE LINE THAT IS TO REPLACED I DROVE A F-350 700 MILES BY BEATING THE LINE TOGETHER GOING TO THE RIGHT REAR BRAKE TO SAVE ON A REPAIR BILL ABD FIXED IT MYSELF WHEN I GOT HOME HOPE THIS HELPS
