If you are looking for more volume , have an exhaust shop cut of the muffler and weld in a press-bent pipe. Do you have a CAI? If you are in a emmisions state you will have some problems. On the other hand alot of the performance of the engine has to do with the cat. The 02 sensors read the oxygen levels before and after the cat to verify it is working. the conputer then adjusts the air fuel mixture based off of the diference between the 2 measurements. removing the cats willl cause your check engine light to come on and alot of running issues. I would make sure there is a programmer available to remove the cats from the truck before removing the cats. (in reply to help me) Post #: 6
