Im planin on repacing the converter on my torino I have the original C4 converte and i did some modth to the engine i have a holley 4bbl carb holley street dominator manifold, headers, cam with a duration of 228o and lift 471 I have accel cables and coil speed pro valves and pistons. I whan to knoe which stall rpm is more recomended for good power

Higher stall converters are good for one thing. To hold rpm's for good burnouts. If your engine isn't for drag racing it's better left as it was unless your motor has no bottom end for crap. If so then you should judge at what rpm your motor has pickup where it won't just stall when the gas is on. That's the stall speed. Some performance motors will barely tun until they hit 2 or 3 thousand RPMs - they're the only ones that need a stall converter. You should instead consider a heavy duty sun gear or something actually useful for better power output. You could also try a shift kit and tighter clearance at your auto. trans. clutch plates ( by way of a thicker snap ring).
