Good evening, I just read through several e-mail and get the feeling it may be better to increase the intake air coming into the engine, first. Then maybe upgrade the exhaust before going with a performance chip? Is this correct? I have a 1999 Ranger 4.0 efi manual trans. I really enjoy the truck, but we just recently bought a pop-up camper and a little additional power would be helpful. Any suggestions where to start. I have never messed around with chips and am I little unsure of what to look for and exspect. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks
