I found a broken vacuum hose on my Mom's car. I've searched for the rest of it and it is evidently not still connected on the other end. In the pic it looks like the hose is there but it is actually broken off where it looks like it bends down.  The car runs fine except at idle. It stutters and sometimes goes dead. Not a good thing when she is driving alone but even worse when she has the grandkids. Please help if you can.

Thanks Kevin

I got it! Thanks to Loudfocus

It is the pcv hose. I thought I had checked it but the end that had broken was lodged under something else and  I thought it was connected there.
