Newbie here!
New to this forum but i frequent many others.
Recently acquired a 97 f-350 powerstroke and like it so far. Before that all i have owned is Chevy's. Mostly cause I'm a GM tech so this ford stuff is all new to me.

Thanks
Mike

Welcome to the site Mike. I have owned GM, Dodges and Fords. Also a Nissan, throughout my life.

Greetings,

Just joined here, mainly to ask some questions and acquire wisdom on maintaining a couple of Fords in my family.

A little about myself, I'm a 40 year old computer network technician who lives on the west side of Michigan. I used to do most of my own auto maintenance, but as I moved up in the world, I got out of working on cars, now I've started getting my hand back in because I do find I enjoy it, and saving a little money isn't too bad either.

Please don't hate me, but I really don't have too much brand loyalty. I currently own two Fords, a 1997 Taurus and a 2000 Explorer, and a Toyota. In the past I've been known to drive GM stuff; Buicks, Chevys, GMC trucks, and a Pontiac. I primarily go with whatever auto I can get at the right price/right time that does what I want it to. However, I really would like to get my hands on a new Mustang GT I tell my wife that the mid-live crisis is coming, and a sports/muscle car will help get me through it

Regards,
Dave

My name is Meredydd (pronounced Meredith). I'm an SCCA racer and obviously car lover. I'm looking for a 1991 Ford Escort GT to replace one that died of an electrical fire this summer. Right now I'm driving a '95 Miata MX5 (same engine, that's why I bought it). Fun car, but I need something bigger than a breadbox.

Hello, I'm Dave (DJ) I'm from central Indiana,
Got out of cars when I started my family, now I'm "Papa".
When the 05's came out I fell in love with the style of the new Mustang and wanted to get a base V6 and play with it after the warrenty ran out.
Some how though a 03 Mach 1 w/4k on the odometer followed me home instead.
Needless to say I'm back into cars again.
God Bless my new wife, after owning the car for less than a week, she looked over and said "I love the car the way it is, but how can we make it louder
and faster?"
So Far;
MAC H pipe, Glass Packs, preditor tune,K&N filter,4.10 gears, and for looks on the street it wears Chrome Mach1 wheels 9X17 front 10.5X17rear wrapped in BFG G-Force kdws., on the track I use the stock rims in front and light wieght Cobra Clones (9X17) on the rear with MT Drag Radials.
Oh yea, it's an automatic trans car.

Welcome mach3. Congrats on the new car. I fixed the link. On this site you have to spell out the whole word "image" and in lower case. in the brackets.

Ok please forgive me if i'm not in the right place. I m a new owner of a 1999 F-150 4x4 5.4. extended cab that i just recently purchased to pull my Catalina 22. You know i must have wanted this one real bad cause i drove from here in south Louisiana to Dallas to get it. I once had a 1979 F-150 4x4 some years back and found it to be quite a mule. So in looking for a work horse i decided on this one. I have some questions about a couple of things but i didnt see where to post in the forums. So help me out Admin :) Thanks
