I just purchased a 2004 Freestar with the keyless entry keypad on the drivers door. How do I find the code to use this keypad? Also, I only got one key with the van and want to program more keys. I found blank keys on ebay. They say you need two keys to program new keys or take it to the dealer. Does anyone know how to program new keys with only one original key? Thanks,

No I do not know how to program the system with only one key but the instructions for programming the keypad on the door is in your owners manual but here again I believe you need the original code. Best to check with the selling dealer.

I read in the owners manual that the code is on a sticker on the computer. Does anyone know where the computer is located on a 2004 Freestar?

Should be up mounted up under the dash on the drivers side and to the left. Did you get the pouch with the owners manual in it? If you did, is there a white credit card size card in it? If so, there should be a 5 didit number printed on it. That should be the key code.

Will look in my owners manual about this but the power control module (PCM) is located in the engine compartment besides the interior air filter. Another large computer is located under the dash on the left side of and under the steering wheel and is called the smart junction box (SJB) Hope this helps.
