Welcome to the site..

Did you already check the fuses in the I/P fuse box... Postion 25/15amp, and position 15/10amp.. Could be the muli function switch/electronic flasher, but the fuses should be checked if they haven't been checked as good...

Thanks Much, it got to dark to check anything today.
I tried tinkering a bit,
When i hold down (very hard) the 4 way button an try the turn signals They work, as long as i hold the flasher button all the way down.
Wher is I/P box?  Under dash?  Under Hood?

The Instrument panel fuse box is under the left corner of the instrument cluster.. But,,, if you can force the turns/hazards to operate by manipulating the multifunction switch controls then it sounds like the multi function switch is going bad.. If the fuse/s were open, then the switch would be completely dead.. The mulit function switch is a common failure for a lot of models/builds... The multi function switch replacement is a simple job.. I can send you info if need be...

Try spraying a little penetrant down around the 4 way knob and work it a few times.  We have gained some extra time on the switch by doing that.

Thank You,......... But, can i short anything out in there by using too much?
Or will a contact cleaner (electrical) do any better than WD-40?   I have both.

Worth a try..

It won't short out.. WD in WD40 stands for 'water displacement' and was designed to do just that in electrical environments.. But its a penetrant as well, and doesn't really second as a electronic lube like dielectric silcone/silicone based sprays ect.. Try giving it a light spray first with the electronic cleaner and follow up with the WD as a test.. A silcon based spray may be a better bet if the WD works.. Don't over spray as the run off lube will drip into the column and out of the column covers, generally on your legs  ;(

If the treatment doesn't work, let me know and I'll send the replacement info along..

OK, Heres where i'm at right now.
Went out an tried them a bit ago (Before you posted the above)
Pushed the 4 way button down an tried the signals, THEY WORKED, this time w/o holding the button down.
So this time i'm leaving the 4 ways button ON (DOWN) and Hope my 4 ways does not kick on when i'm in the house, Any chance of that happining??
As long as its working like this i think i'll hold off with spraying
anything now,  Good Idea??
Thank You again for all your time with me on this.
I'll post updates as they happen.

I would go ahead and try to get them to work without the 4 way flashers turned on.  Try spraying down in the button area and see if it will help you.  Other recourse is to buy the multi function switch.  Click here for switch and approximate price.  Replacement is really easy also.  Let us know.
