RE: 302 with 351 fireing order??? - 12/7/2007 8:42:45 AM    Use Common Sense   Posts: 540 Score: 0 Joined: 1/12/2007 Status: offline I believe the 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 firing order was used on all "STOCK" 221/260/289/302 engines from 1962 thru the late 80's. Non-"HO" 5.0's also used this firing order. The 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 firing order was used on all 351 Windsor engines as well as the 82-up "HO" 5.0 engine. RE: 302 with 351 fireing order??? - 12/11/2007 10:54:47 PM    stutzman   Posts: 11 Score: 0 Joined: 12/6/2007 Status: offline the 302 numbers say it came from a car. block says 70's? i also have a 302 with old 302 fireing order. heads apear same. both blocks have preformer 289 intake and edelbrock 600cfm carb. electronic ign. the only visible differences are trans mount and engine mounts? possibly came from bronco?
