Can anyone tell me if a 1991 LX Mustang with a 2.3 and an LX Mustang with a 5.0 have the same frame?  Meaning, can a car that had a 2.3 handle a 5.0 motor?
Thanks,
Caseih1460

Frame is identical.  You will need to change the motor mounts and add heavier springs to the front since Ford put in a lighter spring since the car only had to hold up a 4 cyl instead of the 302.  You will also want to swap your 7.5" rear end for a 8.8" with limited slip.  Also need to change the transmission.
