Good afternoon!

The LCD that displays the shift gear position as well as the odometer no longer illuminates. Is there a replaceable bulb? And if so, how do you get at it?

I have a 2002 Escape XLT with 114K miles. The LCD display backlight for the odometer/gearshift indicator no longer works. Not good driving at night.

Is there anything I can do? I noticed that no one responded to the original posting. There probably isn't a large number of Escapes with the problem.
