I have a 2000 Taurus and at 44K miles I started geting some noise from what I thought was the belt,so I changed the belt and it still made the squeal,so I replaced the tensioner pully and still had the noise, then I changed the Idler pully and still have the noise. The only thing I have yet to do is to change the power steering pump,or the Alternator or even the AC.It is so hard to tell where the sound is coming from because of the sound being echoing through the engine compartment.Has anyone ever had this problem or have any suggestions on how to pinpoint the problem. Thanks

Mike
