Go to your local ford dealership and they will either have the glass or can order it for you.  It will run you about 85.00 plus tax.

That price 'is' the mirror glass..

If it's your servicing dealer, you might/should be able to grind on them some and get it for about 58ish plus tax.. The complete unit is about 170.00 or so.. You can also look for one at the dismantler level, but chances are their going to want more for a used unit than the replacement glass..

[;)]Whats involved in removing the broken glass and replacing it. I must confess I'm very much a novice.

[;)]It all seemed like a lot of $ for a glass mirror. So i I picked up a copy of Haynes Ford focus Repair manual. I showed that to remove the glass just required the pressing and pushing of the glass from the inside to the outside and the uncliping of the retaing bracket. Now I am left with a plastic bracket to which the remaing glass is glued.

I guess I can break the remaining glass away from the bracket. What I am left with is some puty like pads that glued the glass. What kind of epoxy like glue is used?

Really appreciate your help.

Tnx

Ric
