Hello, I'm glad I found this forum!  I recently purchased a 2000 Contour.  6 Cyl. engine.  One owner and only 35,000 miles!   Anyway, I have found that on really cold mornings (I live in the north part of the US), it will start fine, go up to ~2500 rpms immediately, and then go down to nothing and stall out, unless I keep my foot on the gas.  It seems to get slightly better when the engine is warmed up, but sometimes stalls at a stop sign.  It also seems to be a little better with I put "heet" in the gas.  What could be the problem in this low mileage car?  Thanks
