97 contour timing - 1/24/2008 9:43:47 PM    jallenfarm   Posts: 1 Score: 0 Joined: 1/24/2008 Status: offline I just bought a 97 Contour and as I just pulled it into the Garage  to inspect it and the timing belt broke>>. I am through replacing it  and now I am having trouble timing it.  I have a tool to insert into the cams for alignment and I put number 1 cyl. on tdc.   Does the lobes on the exhaust cam follow right behind the intake cam??? THis is a 2.0 I need help.............Thanks Post #: 1
