4.10 vs 3.73's in 6.0

Am trying to decide whether to get an F350 dually or SRW with the 3.73's or the dually with the 4.10. I would say that I tow about 25% of the time a horse trailer (7k) a boat (6k) and a 5th wheel 14k. The rest of the time I use it as a car, and I'd like to get the best mileage possible. Am I better off getting the SRW with the 3.73's?

Your thoughts/advice ?

The fuel econ is better with the 3.73 but with the 6.0L the 4.10 is not needed as much as if you had a V10 then I would get the 4.10. If you want the extra luging power and tow heavy loads alot get the 4.10. I have 3.73 in my 2000 7.3L F250 and tow a 29ft. fifthwheel and like how it pulls.

My thoughts ,for the money go with the 4.10. once I worked with a fleet an we had several mixed units with the 3.55 an 4.10, everyone thought the 4.10 would really suck up the fuel--- in the end I think there was only about several 10ths of a gallon off, an these units were fully loaded an towed trailers to boot, the 4.10 units seemed to have less failure. an I'll tell you I got real good at doing ring an pinion's. I would weld a little washer on one of the broken teeth off the pinion an hang it from the guys rear view mirror just to piss them off LOL
