Can anyone tell me where the IAT (Intake Air Temp) sensor is on my 2008 Ford Escape (2.3L 4cyl)? I know it must be on or near the air intake or air filter, so a picture or graphic would be helpful if possible.  Thanks!

Intake air temp is measured through the MAF

Not having an issue with the Escape, I purchased a module from Tuned Engineering (TunedEngineering.com) that plugs into the IAT.  It is supposed to improve gas mileage and engine performance.  They also say that it will not void any factory warranties.

Be careful what you plug into a computor system.  Anything that alters fuel drop or timing WILL affect your warranty.  Remember, these people DO NOT have a working relationship with Ford Motor Company, so they cannot say if it does or does not affect warranty.

If it is in with your mas airflow sensor,.. it should be the two outermost wires, a chip will void a engines waranty, however can be easily removed in such a case you need to be.
