I am looking into buying a 1997 Expedition, but the 4.6 engine bothers me a little. It is a smokin deal, but I wish it had the 5.4. I will pulling a 5000 pound Camper. Buy or wait for a 5.4 model. The one I am looking at is an XLT with 76,000 miles for $8500. No hitch, but I will get a Class 3 for it. Whatcha think? i am also in PA with a bunch of hills and the Camper has a bunch of Tongue weight. Out of all of the Expedtions I found, it kinda figures the best deal would have the smaller engine, almost all of the others I have found have the 5.4. Thanks-Jack.
