1998 contour electric fan not working

electrical wiring harness damaged by exhaust manifold now electric cooling fan does not go on but when bypassed works need help on fixing problem????????

Does that system have a dropping resistor in the circuit? Seems it is either mounted in the bottom of the fan shroud or on the side of the transaxle. Could be the culprit.

Ok, going back and looking at the wiring book on this, you probably have a blown fuse in the fuse box. It is a 60 amp and would have gone when it shorted to ground.[sm=mail.gif]
