New Alternator and battery no help - 2/9/2008 8:33:58 PM    Winstargirl   Posts: 1 Score: 0 Joined: 2/9/2008 Status: offline Hello all, I am a owner of a 2000 Ford Winsdstar My van died on the highway Dec 2006 replaced alternator and battery, same scenario Sept. 2007, replaced alternator, van died again Dec 2007.  I just bought another battery and alternator. My mechanic checked van and said the alternator is not holding the charge, am I missing anything is there anything I need to check? Check engine light is on.... Post #: 1
