I am looking at the Ford body book and it says '62 and '63 Falcon Ranchero Body Type X (66A)  - in '64/'65 (late '63 on) it's 66B. You will need to know what body parts you need before you begin. The '64/'65 model is easy to ID by its different body style. The '62/'63 has a flat slanted tail when viewed from the side and the '64/'65 has a vertical tail with two waves. '66 incurred a switch to a rectangular taillight from the older round style of the '62 through '65's.

The first number of the VIN will tell you what year it is. 2=1962  3=1963
