I have a 1980 coupe, and building a mean street rod out of it. Which sub frame connectors should i go with, and where can i find them?

CJponyparts.com should have them. Lots of other mustang aftermarket dealers carry them. Weigh your ass end down for a safer ride. The 80's stangs are light and a good motor is likely to turn it around unless you're used to it. The oldest Fox Mustang I ever saw in person was a 1979. You're not far off. 78 was of course the last of the Mustang II's - Who made that body? Lotta' curves. Anyhow subframe great idea : add street racing cage - even better to tie the front to the back over and under.

I'd use the heaviest connectors possible -but be sure the connection method is also super solid. Bolt AND weld works better. Bolts to back up the welds.

you might want to use the full length sub frame connecters, also you will need upper & lower control arms and battle boxes too. steeda & maximum motorsports has them as do many others. good luck.
