Thumping engine noise - 3/11/2008 9:53:54 AM    danno1313   Posts: 1 Score: 0 Joined: 3/11/2008 Status: offline After I drive my 91 Ranger for 15 - 20  miles it developes a THUMPING sound in the passenger side of the engine.  It is noticable at slow speed or when stopped.  When I turn the engine off it THUMPS a few more times, then it stops.
