jersitron -> Blinking Battery Light, misfire codes (3/19/2008 3:38:29 PM)

I have a 2003 Escape XLT 4x4 with 115K miles on it. When I take off from a stop and get up to 2-2.5K RPM the battery light blinks, along with a tinny sound (like low power steering fluid). It doesn't have a lot of power in the lower gears. Once i'm at highway speed, nothing happens, everything is fine. The alternator was replaced a year ago. I replaced serpentine belt, tensioner, battery but nothing has worked. I took it to Ford dealer and they said there was nothing wrong (did have misfire codes p0304 and p0316). Any suggestions?
