have got some fuse problems on my dayvan, some of my fuses had blown and had been repaired with house hold fuse wire so i have just had delivered from the states loads of correct fuses, cant use U.K. fuses as they are the wrong length, (U.K. fuses 3cm long U.S. fuses 2.2cm long)
have changed all the fuses for the correct power as shown on fuse box but now some of the items wont work? indicators wont work on a correct 15Amp fuse but will work on the same fuse if i use 15Amp fuse wire? same for the dash illumination?

any ideas at all?

You might try testing the new fuses for continuity.
I have bought new fuses just to learn that they were bad.
