On 60's Fords VINs and data stamps can be fouind in a number of places. First be sure that the warranty tag isn't located on the front (forward side) of the drivers door instead of the rear. If it's gone there is usually a stamp under the hood on the upper side (horizontal) at usually the drivers side or at the upper side of the firewall (behind and above the engine).
