Recently bought a 2001 Escape. No problems, took a long road trip to Tampa over Spring Break everything fine. Until this afternoon. My son drove it last nite, came home low on gas, would not start. He put gas in the vehicle ( I was gone at the time). When my husband & I got back, we have a car that not only will not start, it won't turn over at all, or even move out of gear. Any help would be appreciated. Do we need to reset a fuel switch? Could he have done further damage trying to force the gear shift?
