Variable cam timing unit or timing belt?? - 4/4/2008 9:59:15 AM    Qaiphyx   Posts: 1 Score: 0 Joined: 4/4/2008 Status: offline My contour is a 98 4 cylinder, idles rough and then surges up then drops again, same symptoms of that retarded vct, but sometimes it will run completely normal and have no problems. So I was wondering if maybe its my timing belt slipping? Post #: 1
