locking remote

I just bought an 05 expedition, eddie bauer. When i use the remote to unlock my doors, it honks 4 times. Is this normal, or is it some kind of code? Please help, I'm waking up the neighbors! [sm=wtf.gif] Rich

It can be reprogrammed not to do that, but it must be done with a computor to select options in the body/perimeter alarm system. You may have to take it to a shop or a dealership to reprogram.
