2.0 liter manual transmission 95 contour overheated and shutoff. Had it towed home and two weeks later found the bypass pipe corroded and replaced it. Now the car won't start. When the engine shuts off for safety is there a fuse or something I have to replace to make the car start again. It gets fuel and the battery is fine but it sounds like no spark....please any suggestions?

Check it for spark to be sure, if present, you might try a short shot of ether into the intake and see if it fires on the prime to rule out base engine issues if it got critically hot.. Also make sure the fuel pump runs, if towed and jarred/bumped hard it may have popped the fuel pump inertia cutoff switch causing no fuel pressure.. Need to know if it's getting spark, and a good fuel pressure..
