I am trying to figure out if I can run my car if the DPFE is messed up? Is this going to ruin my engine? I just got my car out of the shop and it cost me a ton of money and I am tapped out financially. My check engine light came on today and I took it to auto zone and they ran a diagnostic on it and it showed up DPFE. I just had it fixed last week...among other things that was being repaired...so I wont be able to get it fixed until I get paid again. Any help with this subject would be nice thanks.
